Part of the "The Biology Classics" series. Hydra is a genus of simple fresh-water animals possessing radial symmetry. Observes feeding behavior of hydra, shows detailed microscopy of stinging cells used in capturing prey, and reviews two digestive processes: cellular and extracellular.
