Peter Pritchard has seen each of the world's 300 species of turtles, but has a real affinity for the giant leatherback sea turtles on a Guyana beach. With funding from the National Science Foundation, Biologist Ken Lohmann at the University of North Carolina -Chapel Hill studies the role magnetic fields play in these long distance migrations.
