    This creature was found 1,800 feet deep in the ocean. It’s called a basket star. This extraordinary invertebrate has a mass of twisting and turning arms that can measure a meter long. Each branch has tiny sharp hooks allowing the creature to capture prey, and it feasts mainly on zooplankton. Basket stars are able to grow their limbs back if they are broken or chopped off by predators. Part of the "Creatures of the Deep" series.

    In nuclear physics, nuclear fusion is a nuclear reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei come close enough to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles (neutrons and/or protons). The difference in mass between the products and reactants is manifested as the release of large amounts of energy. This difference in mass arises due to the difference in atomic "binding energy" between the atomic nuclei before and after the reaction. Fusion is the process that powers active or "main sequence" stars, or other high magnitude stars.

    Gabriela, Manuel and Leonardo are three friends who accidentally start a rocket that takes them to space. Their journey through space takes them to different planets and strange worlds. Throughout their journey, they have the help of Maqui, an on-board computer. Maqui helps them learn about the universe. The kids examine old maps to be able to find where they are, but the maps are useless. Then Maqui suggests that they should study the constellations and explains to them that ancient civilizations used the sky and the stars as guides. Soon they arrive to a planet where the inhabitants also look for shapes formed by stars.

    Moko is an explorer. As he travels the world continent by continent, he makes many friends and discovers many natural phenomena which sometimes delight him, and other times scare him. Each animated episode recounts an adventure and takes an "original story" approach to explaining these natural phenomena. In this episode, it is night time and Moko is watching the shooting stars from Totemie's village and is remembering how he once thought that a lady blew the stars in the sky from the embers of her bonfire. And suddenly, an immense star, a huge ball of fire, appears from the sky and falls to the depths of the forest. Totemie and Moko take off to see where the meteorite has landed and discover that a huge flaming rock has made a hole the size of a volcano's crater in the ground and is setting fire to the forest around it. Totemie is scared that the sky is angry and Moko, who remembers Mei Li begins to dance like she did while playing Alarick's flute. It begins to rain and slowly the flames die down. Moko thinks that the clouds must have seen him dance and heard his flute and come to save his new friend's land.
