    The Magic School Bus is an award winning animated children’s television series based on the book series of the same title by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. It is notable for its use of celebrity talent and being both highly entertaining and educational. When the principal, Mr. Ruhle, has to go away for a few days, he leaves his beloved chicken, Giblets, in Dorothy Ann's (DA) care. Unfortunately, the minute Mr. Ruhle is out the door, Giblets flies away, and DA sets out to find a replacement for Giblets.
