Do you have questions about how to contribute content to our shared collection? Read through frequently asked questions posed by other community members and try to locate an answer to your inquiry:
- How do I contribute resource to the collection?
Ready to share resources that you think others might find helpful? Access the “Contribute to Library” button in the top menu bar to add files and provide metadata to facilitate the discovery or materials you’re adding to this shared collection.
- How do I determine if I'm allowed to modify someone else's materials?
If you’re starting with a resource or concept created by someone else, check the assigned licensing terms before modifying and contributing it to Imageshare. For example, you will also find an associated “license” for any model found in Thingiverse.
- What licensing terms should I use when contributing content?
Need help selecting an licensing term? Learn more about various Creative Commons licenses or visit https://creativecommons.org/choose/ for help navigating the different options.
- I have several resources to contribute - can someone help me with the upload process?
Sure! The DIAGRAM team recognizes that the upload process can be rather involved. If you have more than a handful of files you’d like to contribute, just reach out to email@example.com to request such.
- Are there services that can help me print files found in Imageshare?
We’re working on building a community of volunteers who can help print, share, or customize files. Contact the DIAGRAM team if you’re interested in partaking in a pilot or getting more involved in helping us figure out how to develop out an appropriate network.
Additionally, here are some paid-for fulfillment services that can help print 2D embossed files or 3D-printed models:
